Who We Are

Establishment and Background:

Peace of God Apostolic and Prophetic Ministries (PGM) was established in October 1998 after the completion of a 21-day revival held at the Love Garden Field, Olumegbon, via Western Avenue, Surulere, Lagos. The church was birthed out of several revelations received by our Archbishop, along with messages from renowned servants of God, including the late Prophet J.F. Ayeni of Christ Apostolic Church, AGS, C.A.C Festac Town, Lagos; Pastor Olowere of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Agbara; and Prophet Samuel of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Prior to its establishment, our Archbishop worked under their guidance as a counselor, revivalist, and evangelist, leveraging powerful prophetic gifts.

The founding of PGM was a direct response to God’s call, driven by a deep love for God and a passion to continue working for Him. The church began its activities with four initial families: Christiana Abra, Pastor Kokoro, Mrs. Folorunsho, and Mrs. Oke. Since then, the church has grown to the glory of God.

Early Locations and Growth:
Initially, services were held at various locations in Surulere, Lagos, including:

– Ogunmola Street
– 33 Olumegbon Street
– 20B Bankolemoh Street
– Black House, Shitta Akerele
– No. 14 Modile Street (Mrs. Babatope’s house), where the chairman and community members warmly accommodated the church.

Commitment to Evangelism

Peace of God Apostolic and Prophetic Ministries is deeply committed to evangelism, following God’s directive to proclaim His word at all times. Our evangelism takes place on both an individual and collective level, utilizing various mediums such as handbills, tracts, Christian magazines, television, and radio.

We run a program on LTV Lagos’s HOSANNA HOUR every Monday evening and on Radio Lagos every Tuesday at 1:00 PM. Additionally, we conduct a PROPHETIC HOUR on Facebook every Monday at 7:00 AM, where God’s words are shared with the people.

Mission and Beliefs

Our evangelism centers around the theme of “Salvation,” with our motto being, “You must be born again.” We firmly believe in God’s word and directives, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us at all times. We express our love for God through heartfelt praise with songs and dance.

We acknowledge our gratitude to our Father, the “I Am that I Am; the one who was, who is, and who is to come,” for the journey we have undertaken. We reflect on where we started, where we are, and where He is taking us. He is the backbone of our overseer and has seen her triumph despite countless tribulations.
